SUPPORT LCCM! Our 1st Annual Print Portfolio

1st Annual Print PortfolioLost Coast Culture Machine is excited to announce its 1st Annual Print Portfolio. We commissioned 5 artists to contribute editions of 50 prints to be sold as a fundraiser for LCCM. Proceeds from the sale of prints & portfolios will directly support LCCM’s exhibitions & programs. Specifically, it will help us maintain an alternative exhibition space for contemporary art projects, offer subsidized classes & open studios, and develop an artist in residence program.

The theme of the portfolio is from a dictum of Gilles Deleuze on creativity and vitality: One should seek to create a foreign language from one’s own language, to be spoken by a community that does not yet exist. Contributing artists are Anne Beck & Dietmar Krumrey (Mendocino), Larry Thomas (Fort Bragg), Andrew Venell (San Francisco), Michelle Wilson (Richmond, CA), and Amelia Winger-Bearskin (Nashville, TN). Edition # 1 – 15 of the 5 prints, and a colophon are bound loose leaf in a handmade portfolio covered in LCCM-produced abaca & cotton paper, bearing LCCM’s logo in red cotton rag formed with a custom deckle. The remainder of the editions are available for sale as individual prints. All will be available for purchase in LCCM’s online store shortly. In the meantime, please direct inquiries to Anne or Dietmar,
